Canine Conditioning Foundations

Cost: $160 per Handler Dog Team

This is a beginner level class for handlers looking to safely implement a conditioning program for their dogs.  Handlers will work one dog throughout the entire class.  

All handlers will be working their dogs simultaneously.  Each team will be separated by ring gates, but your dog should be able to work while other dogs are being worked around them.  

This course will provide handlers with an introduction to canine fitness foundations. Topics covered will include assessing the dog’s structure, training foundational exercises, and ensuring the dog is performing those exercises safely, and with proper form.

Class will be held once per week on Sunday for 60 minutes at 1:30PM.  We will meet on the following days with a 2 week break to allow time to practice skills:

Please bring PLENTY of treats with you to each class, preferably light colored and NOT round (to avoid treats rolling into other dog’s spaces.)

You do not need to bring any equipment to the first class but if you have a fabric tape measure, please bring it.
